Judgment on Sidon and Promise of Israel's Security

28
Chapter 28
20 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying. 21 Son of Adam, set your face toward Sidon and prophesy against it. 22 And you shall say, This is what the Lord GOD says: Look, I am against you, Sidon, and I will be honored in your midst, and they will know that I am the LORD when I do judgments in her and sanctify myself in her. 23 And I will send pestilence into her and blood in her streets, and the slain will fall in her midst by the sword on every side, and they will know that I am the LORD. 24 And there will no longer be a pricking brier that causes pain to the house of Israel or a thorn that pains from all around them, those who despise them, and they will know that I am the Lord GOD. 25 This is what the Lord GOD says: When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among which they were scattered, I will be sanctified in them before the eyes of the nations, and they will dwell on their ground that I gave to my servant Jacob. 26 And they will dwell on it in security, and they will build houses, and they will plant vineyards, and they will dwell in security when I make judgments among all the adversaries around them, and they will know that I am the LORD their God.
